My wife and I have visited San Juan many, many times on Holland America Line.
The people are very friendly and when you travel around the island, you see how beautiful the scenery is.
Each and every time we visit, we make sure to stop by the fort.
Several years ago we took a tour of the El Yunque rainforest.
Granted, I thought it was boring, but my wife enjoyed seeing the rainforest and other sites we hadn’t seen on our previous cruises. On the bus ride to the rainforest, a man recognized me from a previous Holland America cruise. Remind me to tell you the “Rick Steves” story that goes along with this bus ride!
I hope that you will join my wife and I in praying for the people of Puerto Rico.
I feel so sad that first Hurricane Irma, and now Hurricane Maria is ravaging this island nation.
