As you’ve probably heard, Royal Caribbean has agreed to acquire a 50% equity stake in Sandals Resorts International for 3 billion dollars.
While there are many more questions than answers regarding this action, my biggest question is will Royal Caribbean cruisers get a discount when visiting a Sandals resort?
Another big question is about loyalty points (status).
As we all know, Carnival made some big changes to their VIFP program and it’s tied to a credit card.
My hope is that this partnership between Royal Caribbean and Sandals will be a win-win.
