I recently took a 7 day Danube river cruise on the AmaWaterways AmaMagna.

You will see the most famous landmarks during this tour but you will be able to visit such places too which are not part of big bus tours as big buses are not allowed in certain areas. We will get off more times on the Buda side where you will enjoy the best view from the height of the hills. You will visit the Garden of Philosophers in Gellert Hill a nice little place and will enjoy the view from there. In the city park, you will visit the Vajdahunyad Castle and see the most famous bath in Budapest the Szechenyi.
