Cruising with step-kids, adopted kids, and with only one parent.

Now that the summer cruise season begins, many adults will be taking kids on cruise vacations.

Back in the day, you would have both the biological mom and dad holding their biological kids by the hand as they approached the check-in desk, but no longer.

Large numbers of adults may have step-kids, foster kids or adopted kids.

The last thing you want is for a well meaning cruise terminal employee to turn a family back to their car in the parking lot because of the lack of proper documentation!

Don’t think for a minute you’re going to be able to either bully or sweet-talk your way on to the Lido deck.

In addition, you’re not getting on the ship by claiming, “nobody told me” or “my travel agent said we are good to go!”
