Carnival cruise line delays cruises until August

The Cruise Genius on the Carnival Elation

Carnival Brand Ambassador John Heald shared with his audience on his popular Facebook page that Carnival cruise line is delaying cruises until August.

“As many are asking what ships are sailing in August and from where, here is the information

Beginning August 1, we plan to resume cruises on the following ships:

Miami: Carnival Horizon, Carnival Magic and Carnival Sensation

Port Canaveral: Carnival Breeze and Carnival Elation

Galveston: Carnival Dream, Carnival Freedom and Carnival Vista

Other than the above referenced service from Miami, Port Canaveral and Galveston, all other North American and Australian homeport cruises will be cancelled through August 31.

All Carnival Spirit Alaskan cruises from Seattle will be cancelled, as well as the Carnival Spirit Vancouver-Honolulu cruise on September 25 and the Honolulu-Brisbane transpacific cruise on October 6.

All Carnival Splendor cruises in Australia from June 19 to August 31 will be cancelled.

I will be on the first cruise from Miami on Carnival Horizon and then on other ships after that from Port Canaveral
and Galveston.

It would be brilliant to see you and again I am so so sorry to anyone whose family vacation has been canceled.

I truly hope you will be book again and have the FUN you so deserve.

I feel your pain

I know that it’s disappointing Carnival isn’t sailing sooner, but considering all the bad press, it’s critical that all cruise lines do their best to restore trust with the public.

I firmly believe when the Coronavirus is behind us, most seasoned cruisers will return to cruising.

My gut tells me that the cruise lines will be working very hard to ensure the ships are 100% sanitized.

Testing prior to the cruise will probably be a new fact of life. Hopefully we all won’t be wearing masks, but I can’t wait to cruise again. Orlando’s WESH.com has a great article on this story: https://www.wesh.com/article/carnival-cruise-resume-service-august/32363904
