A good friend of mine asked me to do a blog post on what would get you kicked off of a cruise ship.
Here ya go!
1. Excessive drinking is the number one cause of getting kicked off of a cruise ship. Why? In some cases, people get drunk and act inappropriately towards other passengers and crew! Sure, most people are able to control themselves, but few people just can’t handle their liquor!
2. Fighting. Again, alcohol probably plays a role in this, but the quickest way to get thrown off of a cruise ship is to be involved in a fight!
3. Arguing with the Captain or the crew! Ok, this is Captain Jack Sparrow, but you get the hint. If you start giving the Captain or crew a hard time, you won’t be on board for very long! Speaking as a U.S. Navy veteran, the one thing that is not tolerated is mutiny! Recently a cruise passenger started lobbying fellow passengers to complain about the ship not entering a port due to bad weather. Bad move!
4. Criminal background. If you are a deserter from the military or if a warrant is out for your arrest, chances are you won’t be allowed to board the ship.
5. Bringing illegal drugs on the ship. Recently several people were busted trying to bring drugs on The Holy Ship EDM cruise. Don’t even try it. Drug sniffing dogs will catch you every time!
