I just returned from my 4th visit to TRS Coral and Grand Palladium Costa Mujeres. I have to say my 7 day stay was absolutely perfect!
Orlando Airport
Instead of flying out of my local Jacksonville, Fl airport, I chose to drive 2 hours south to Orlando. You can’t fly non-stop to Cancun from Jacksonville, so I flew from Orlando on Frontier airlines about 2 hours south to Cancun.
Masks were not required in the Orlando airport, or on my Frontier airline flight!
Cancun Airport
Frontier airlines used Terminal 4 in Cancun for my flight. It was a very short walk from my plane to the immigration area. It took about 20 minutes to get to the immigration agent and boom, I was heading to baggage claim to receive my checked luggage.
I quickly moved through the gauntlet of agents selling time shares and I found myself outside looking for my TRS/Palladium transportation agent.
10 minutes later I was in my air conditioned private van heading to TRS Coral!
TRS Coral
TRS Coral opened in November, 2018 and is located about 45 minutes north of the Cancun airport.
Check in at the Travel Club was very quick, and next thing you know, I was on the golf cart heading to Building 1 at TRS Coral near the Helios restaurant.
One of the number 1 questions I’m asked is about the beaches at the resorts I visit.

Did you know that famous tennis star Rafa Nidal has a Tennis Centre located on the property and you can take advantage of the amazing courts and tennis lessons?

While I was at the resort, the Biden administration lifted the requirement to have a negative COVID test prior to flying back to the U.S. I was happy to be interviewed live from TRS Coral via Zoom on Channel 4 in Jacksonville, Fl to discuss the change.
