Reports of Tainted alcohol in Mexico reaches State Department

ABC News is reporting, “The State Department warned American citizens traveling to Mexico last year to be conscious of “allegations that consumption of tainted or substandard alcohol has resulted in illness or blacking out.”

You may recall recent news stories chronicling problems in Mexico with tainted alcohol harming cruise passengers.

Senaor Tammy Baldwin (D-WI) is pressuring the State Department to do more to alert tourists about this problem.
