It’s always a thrill to be invited to share my passion of cruising on Channel 4, WJXT in Jacksonville. During this interview, I shared a great price on an upcoming Carnival Liberty cruise, and talked about 3 brand new cruise ships for 2020.
As you know, I’ve sailed over 150 days on Holland America Line, over 75 days on Carnival and on other cruise lines. My last two trips in 2019 were to the Grand Palladium Riviera Maya and Costa Mujeres (TRS Coral), all-inclusive resorts near Cancun.
Extremely large, luxurious rooms, free wi-fi, many free specialty restaurants and fewer kids makes all-inclusive resorts different than any cruise experience.
As you probably know, most cruise lines have been sprinting to cut costs and raise prices. I will say that Sir Richard Branson is trying to upend the cruise industry by including free wi-fi, tips and including speciality restaurants in the cruise price of Virgin Voyages.
Several years ago, I was honored to be invited to sail on, “The Groove Cruise.” Founder Jason Buekema created an amazing Electronic Dance Music (EDM) cruise experience unlike any other. People from all over the globe came to Miami to enjoy 3 full days and nights of music, friendship and excitement. I can honestly say that, “The Groove Cruise” changed my life for the better and I’ve kept up with many of my fellow Groove Cruise Family (#GCFAM) online. 15 years of The Groove Cruise and it’s still going strong!
