Do I have to dress up for dinner the first night of my cruise?

Many of my clients ask me if they have to dress up the first night of the cruise.

Here’s the dealio.

In many cases, your checked luggage won’t arrive to your cabin until after 5 p.m.

If you’re like me, you want to eat dinner early, so don’t feel pressured to dress up the first night!

Granted, you don’t want to look like a total slob in the main dining room, and if you do, run up to the Lido deck for dinner.

The crew understands that it’s the first night of the cruise, however, be sure to look presentable on the other nights, and especially if it’s formal night!
