Carnival Glory rescues man overboard from Norwegian Getaway

Speaking as a U.S. Navy veteran, with the exception of fire, a man overboard is the most dangerous aspect of being at sea.

As many news outlets have been reporting, a crew member of the Norwegian Getaway went overboard on Saturday.

Nearly 24 hours later, the Carnival Glory which was sailing approximately 20 miles off the coast of Cuba spotted the person and rescued him.

Check out this video from the Captain and Safety Officer of the Carnival Glory as they describe the rescue.
