I just booked a client on a Carnival ship, but the ship doesn’t sail for 3 weeks.
He did his check-in online today and also made a significant FunShop purchase for pictures, alcohol and other items.
I just got a call from the client that Carnival had already charged his credit card for the purchase!
While I understand that Carnival and other cruise lines probably prefer to get the money in the bank, it’s important to know that even if you book your cruise a year in advance, FunShop purchases will hit your credit card long before you sail.
