6 amazing all-inclusive resorts

TRS Cap Cana
TRS Cap Cana

Over the last 3 years, I’ve had the unique opportunity to visit the all-inclusive resorts of the Palladium Hotel Group in Mexico, the Dominican Republic and in Jamaica. The number 1 question I’m frequently asked is, “what’s your favorite?” That’s like asking which one of your grandkids are your favorite, but here ya go!

TRS Cap Cana

The smallest of the all-inclusive resorts I’ve visited, TRS Cap Cana in the Dominican Republic, (adults-only), has 115 amazing rooms, including the popular “swim-up” suites. While TRS Cap Cana has a small beach, a large beach is just a few minutes away. If you’re looking for a more intimate vacation, TRS Cap Cana is a great choice!

TRS Turquesa

TRS Turquesa is an amazing all-inclusive (adults-only) resort in the Dominican Republic. 372 amazing suites, many just steps away from the beach. You have many choices of great restaurants and you can experience the relaxing Zentropia spa. Grand Palladium has a few resorts right next door if you want to bring the kids!

Grand Palladium Vallarta

If you’re looking for a great resort on the Pacific Ocean, Palladium Vallarta is overwhelming on many levels. You can choose from 500 amazing suites. If you’re interested in bringing the kids, the Family Selection area of the resort will make everyone happy. You can even visit a free zoo on the property! Note: Bring comfortable walking shoes as you will be navigating lots of stairs at the resort.

Grand Palladium Lady Hamilton

Interested in going to Jamaica? Grand Palladium Lady Hamilton is a great choice for couples, families and groups. The Poseidon restaurant has an amazing view of Sunset Cove! The Zentropia spa is a welcomed sanctuary from the cares of the day. Again, you have a choice of over 500 suites that will give you a memorable vacation experience.

TRS Coral

I just returned from 7 great days at TRS Coral. You can choose from a swim-up suite, loft suite or garden view suite at this adults-only resort. Grand Palladium Costa Mujeres is right next door and you can access it by golf cart or via boat! The second deck of the Zentropia spa has a infinity pool with a great view of the Family Selection part of the resort.

TRS Yucatán

I’m saving the best for last. TRS Yucatán and Grand Palladium Riviera Maya was the first Palladium Hotel Group all-inclusive resorts I visited several years ago. A long-time friend of mine insisted that I would love the resort because it’s a much better experience than a cruise. At first, I was extremely skeptical. I enjoyed waking up in a different port everyday, the specialty restaurants on cruises, and being at sea, as I’m a U.S. Navy veteran.

For a day and a half after arriving at TRS Yucatán and Grand Palladium Riviera Maya, I was speechless. That is very rare because as a frequent guest on television news programs talking about travel, I usually have something to say.

After 36 hours, the words, “Garden of Eden” came out of my mouth. The tropical surroundings with lots of flora and fauna gave me an experience I’ll never forget. I’ve visited TRS Yucatán 4 times in the recent past, and look forward to returning again very soon.
