A life changed on the Carnival Fascination!

As you may know, Marty and I celebrated our 30th wedding anniversary on the Carnival Fascination the first week of January, 2014.

We had such a great time that we returned to the Fascination on Feb 17th for yet another 5 day cruise to Key West and Nassau. This time it was MUCH warmer than in January!

We were fortunate to be assigned balcony cabin U210 which is located on Deck 6 (also known as the Upper Deck) near the back of the ship.

The cabin was spacious and the balcony was great!

It was nice to see so many of the crew that we had met on our Jan 6th cruise, especially Leo (see pic above).

I first met Leo who at the time was working on the Lido deck during our Sept 2013 cruise.

When Marty and I saw Leo again on our January cruise, I took a picture of him and tweeted the picture to Carnival.

This time when Marty and I went to the Lido deck to look for Leo, I was told he was promoted.

Marty and I found Leo several hours later and he burst into tears and began hugging me.

“Mr. Scott Lara, I was promoted! Thank you Mr. Scott Lara! I told my family back home that I was promoted and my family thanks you and we will NEVER forget you!”

I was moved to tears and so thankful that Leo got a raise and was able to provide more for his family back home!

Wouldn’t it be great if everyone would find just ONE crew person that they could meet, get to know and then let “corporate” know how much you appreciate that person?

Marty and I had a great cruise, but more importantly, I was able to change one person’s life forever.

How cool is that?

That’s #winning.
