The Cruise Genius is visiting Palladium Vallarta

Palladium Vallarta

In 2020, I had the opportunity to visit TRS Yucatán, TRS Coral, TRS Turquesa, TRS Cap Cana, Grand Palladium Colonial, Costa Mujeres and Palace. 2021 is starting off with a visit to Palladium Vallarta.

We all know that cruising has been paused due to COVID-19. As reported by Cruise Radio, Carnival has paused cruises, at least until May! https://cruiseradio.net/carnival-cancels-april-2021-delays-mardi-gras-inaugural-cruise/

In St Thomas with my wife of 37 years, Marty!

At first, I never thought that all-inclusive resorts could compare to cruises, but I was wrong. With over 150 days sailed on Holland America Line, 75 days on Carnival, and lots of days on NCL and Royal Caribbean, Being a U.S. Navy veteran, I loved being at sea! “And now Christopher Cross here on Lite 96.1, Jacksonville!”

Now that I’ve visited the resorts of the Palladium Hotel Group, I can say I’m hooked! The food, luxury/spacious accommodations, amazing service and beautiful surroundings are perfect for couples and families!

In addition, social distancing is much easier at an all-inclusive resort than it would be on a cruise ship. All of the restaurant menus are accessed on your device via QR code, and the Palladium app. All staff wear personal protective equipment.

As I mentioned, I’ll be visiting Palladium Vallarta February 1-7.  Here’s a brief overview:

The Grand Palladium Vallarta Resort is 40 minutes away from the City of Puerto Vallarta, in Riviera Nayarit, a place that in the last few years has become a benchmark in tourist destinations.

The Grand Palladium Vallarta Resort consists of the following facilities:

  • 5 Restaurants (4 à la carte) and 7 bars
  • Baby Club, Mini Club and Junior Club. Babysitting Service available (with extra charge)
  • 2 Sweetwater pools and one saltwater pool
  • 1 Mini Zoo
  • 1 crocodile cage and feeding shows once a week
  • Ecological paths along our botanical gardens
  • Great Theater performing shows and games every night
  • First-class Spa & Wellness Center
  • Business rooms and event halls
  • Sunset Boulevard disco for adults

Keep in mind that the resorts provide free COVID antigen tests and free COVID-related medical insurance!
